Donate to DCDB

All donations go 100% to our programs! Here is what your donation will do:

Road to Reading

Reading proficiency and access to books at an early age is an important prerequisite for a productive life. With Road to Reading we provide books for low income children at risk.

  • $5 puts a book in a kid’s hand who otherwise has no book at home

Advocacy for the Incarcerated Innocent

We are currently helping with exonerees and the wrongfully convicted who are still in incarcerated. Here are some examples of what your money can do . . .

  • 44 cents buys a stamp for the innocent to write letters to loved ones
  • $4 the cost of a 15 minute phone call to a loved one
  • $3 pays for parking for a visit to the county jail
  • $60 is the amount we deposit monthly in the inmate’s account to enable the purchase of writing materials and additional food (less the $2 transaction fee at the county jail kiosks).

Project Exoneration

Help to meet acute needs of exonerees before compensation such as the purchase of toiletries, groceries, gas, medicine, rent, utilities, and the cost of new state issued identification.
