Kudos to the Ohio Innocence Project who have been working on Mr. Towler’s case since 2004. After serving 30 years for a rape he did not commit Mr. Towler was released today. We are fortunate in Dallas, although there is some dramz and less than altruistic characters lurking, the exonerees here support each other and have formed a network. It is nice to see that another exoneree was waiting in the courtroom for Towler in Ohio and he will have someone to call who truly understands where he has been and the challenges that still face him.
